Kelly is Coleen's Cousin and first best friend. With only 6 weeks between their births, they have grown up together more like sisters. Their special bond has many special memories, dance routines and hearty belly laughs. Coleen was Kelly's Maid of Honour back in 2015, and is Fairy Godmother to her amazing son Flynn. Kelly has been Coleen's oracle in navigating through life. There is no better person to have by Coleen's side on her wedding day.

Yvonne and Coleen became friends in second class in school. Their unique friendship has survived going to different secondary schools and living in different countries over the years. An extra special time was when Coleen went to live with Yvonne in NYC for 3 months, and they got to experience life together as "adults" in the same country. Two little weirdos that see the fun in most things, and will grow up some day!

Aine and Coleen went to secondary school together, but their friendship truly blossomed when they lived together in college to train as nurses. The two Monaghan pups also lived it up in Melbourne and then moved back to Dublin for endless nights in, nights out and many festivals and holidays together. Aine is Coleen's voice of reason and has been a pillar of support over the years. Words can't really describe their friendship, but life is always fun when they're together so Aine was an obvious choice for Coleen's Bridesmaid.

Along with Jamie, Peter was one of the first friends that Stephen made in Secondary School, mostly in Ms. Melody's music class (seriously!) and they also ended up in DCU together as well. Both of them somehow ended up on the committee of DCU Music Society, which involved not a whole pile of music, but plenty (PLENTY!) of wild nights out. Stephen and Peter were both also in the World Famous indie band Karma Sue together (don't look them up....please!) and Stephen was also Groomsman at Peter's amazing wedding in America in 2018. Fun Fact: Peter's sister Marie was actually also in college with Coleen back in the day!

Jamie (along with Peter) was one of Stephen's first friends in Secondary School in Mr. Reynolds' Business Studies class (nearly 30 years ago....jaysus) and they both also ended up in DCU together afterwards. They've also survived multiple stints of both of them moving to and from the UK at different times. They share a love of Smithwick's and bar billiards (see photo above!) and also ruining nice walks in Deer Park in Howth by playing (badly!) pitch and putt together many times over the years.

Donal is one of Stephen's oldest friends (they first met in Primary School in 1989....the horror!) and one of Stephen's earliest memories is of being in Donal's house in Killester way back when. Like Jamie, they've kept their friendship going strong after both of them have dipped in and out of living in the UK (although Donal ended up being very much more "in" than "out"!) and they both share a love of music, gigs and festivals (yup the Zeppelin!) Stephen is also going to be one of Donal's Groomsmen in September (exciting times ahead in 2026!)
